Antiques in Bloom Display in the Winterthur Galleries
16 Winterthur collection objects will be interpreted by award winning floral designers. Set on individual pedestals in the galleries, the floral arrangements will borrow from the form, color, and line of the elegant antiques to create a living homage to the craftsmanship of early America. The Antiques in Bloom display in the Winterthur Galleries is included in the price of General Admission.

GardenFair Floral Tour
The Winterthur floral arrangers will create lush arrangements to accent the collections of Henry Francis DuPont. Visitors will enter through the Conservatory and stroll through 5th floor highlights including Montmorenci Stairhall and the Chinese Parlor, and exit through the Conservatory. The Conservatory will feature the work of local designers in a table setting competition. Each of the 6 designers will decorate a table using beautiful blooms and garden accents to suit a Garden Party even H. F. would be proud to attend. (Additional $5 fee.)

Gardening 101
Don't miss these valuable lectures and demos throughout the weekend. You'll get down to gardening basics with topics like how to pot and repot, buying and caring for potted herbs, and all you need to know to force and grow bulbs. Gardening 101 lectures and demos are included in the price of General Admission.

Guest Speakers
Award-winning garden designer P. Allen Smith, host of public television's P. Allen Smith's Garden Home and the syndicated P. Allen Smith Gardens, will share design inspirations and ideas, on both Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17 at 2:00 PM on both days. Admission to Smith's lectures is included in the price of General Admission, but space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Discover the Winterthur Garden through the eyes of Chris Strand, Director of the Garden and Estate. Learn why many consider Winterthur to be one of America's greatest gardens and explore how its design can be adapted for your own home landscape.
